Re: Street and Trail bike questions
That is some awesome information. It answers my questions, my Uncle is a machinist, and a mechanic so I reckon he can help rig something up! Now I just need a bike (and I will tell my buddy to get his own bike) Yeah I'm in canada, and the surf is getting pretty crowded here thanks to advancements in...

Street and Trail bike questions
I recently moved to a remote location, there are only 2 resident surfers there, and I'm one. The swell is inconsistent, hard to read, it's shallow and rocky, and a far distance from one break to the next, the best thing would be to have a boat, but my wife said boats are for rich people. Therefore I...

Re: 3 Month Trip Planning- Thoughts?
I've never been to S. America, but travelling solo would be a temporary condition, you always meet other travellers and if you don't like them, ditch them, lots of freedom there (as opposed to travelling with friends...) so don't let that deter you.
You could also consider Canada, it's cold...

Re: what shits me
Whoops, I'm bad for that, For years my wife thougth 'Hey Joe' by Jimi Hendrix was: Angel, I never did ask her why she thought 'Angel' was 'going down to shoot my old lady.' About cars, my mamma always said: "we were alright for money until we bought a car, never had any money since." Personally I've...

Re: TL2's
Just a follow up after riding the TL2 for a year. I still ride PU's (my buddies 6'6" JS is the closest in dimensions) and really prefer the TL2, it is really responsive, it really pushed my surfing, and makes me surf even my PU fish's better (the waves around here are usually more suited to fish's.....

Re: 5 fins?
it has been years since I posted this, I do live in canada, but I also read these a fair amount. (except for the rugby posts). I didn't get the fish, (got a thruster) but I am in the process of building one. I think I will take that advise of making the rails thin, my current fish is pretty big, and...

Even as a non-american I'm pretty excited about this election, I like McCain, he's reasonable/moderate, and Obama is like Robert Kennedy, left wing but sensible, charaismatic, and conterversial, hopefully he has better security! and Anything, Anything will be better than the corupt yahoo s in office...

Ric Vidal, you are the man, So I followed what you said (it's been a while, But I've been busy) and have filled in the holes, sanded, glassed it, and am about to sand again and attach the fin tonight. I have some 'fin rope' and will use it and some fibre to attach it, I think I know how to get it an...

Filler repair
I'm sure this has been covered, but.... I have never mixed that powder with resin to fill in holes in my board, and I just did so the other day... after thinking about it, I realized I did not add any of the chemical hardener... will it still harden, or do I need to do it over,.... what should I do?...
