I watched the Crystal Voyager a couple of months ago. He seems to get a lot of enjoyment out of riding a surf mat. Maybe he gets more enjoyment out of it than any other craft. That movie inspired me to get a surf mat. I didn't end up getting one, but I did sprain my ankle. It has been 6 weeks of no ...

Some photos from a NSW winter

Hello Click the pic for a big version. Most of the shots are on the Central Coast or several hours north at Crescent. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3091/2809783497_a822d48831.jpg Anthony Love http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3209/2810614950_1a02cc9072.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2236/258590654...

Nice stuff mate. With the navigation on the home page - where the words pop up after you mouse over - have you thought about switching it around? Have the words up there first and then the photo itself once you mouse over. Sometimes a visitor mightn't discover the links by moving their mouse around ...

Silverlight is Microsoft's late (new) and lame competitor to flash. Youtube uses flash, and do you ever see that not workin?
ASP needs to get off the windows wagon.

I suppose we're all prone to belittling our local's danger, but I think it's more important to focus on the ocean. It's the ocean we're surfing, and it can be anything, anytime. I often remind myself not to get too comfortable with it because I'm sure to get smacked up the head if I do.

Well, I don't have anything to contribute. All I've seen are lots of dingo, turkeys and goannas. A dingo call at night can give you the creeps though.

I was talkin to a scuba diver who said they get coke bottles filled with air and take them down. When the bottle sorta implodes due to the pressure they scrunch the bottles together. This makes a sound like a lobster and attracts sharks, because supposedly noahs enjoy our little crustacean friends (...

Fraser park is a good spot. It's about 20 minutes north of Norah Head, in the national park. You can camp there and there are a fair few waves. You might need to book though and it does get crowded too (but everywhere does anyway).
