Thought I'd done it.
Fixed.
Thanks!
Got baby no. 2 due in under 2 weeks so I’m going to need tangents to read with all the free time I’m sure to have.

Can’t see the “special” threads anymore but no one posts in there anyway.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Yeah I understand that the main spots around need south swells. But the south’s down here have been shit for so long I was hoping something would make its way down.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Heading to Merimbula all of next week, are these reported east coast swells going to make it down that way?
Was thinking of checking out saltwater too.

There’s been a fatal attack at Coolangatta this arvo.
Is it the first death with the nets around there?

I’ve never been so cold in my life.

Re: The Tulla Tub

Going back on Sat morning for a 2hr session. Apparently water temp is around 10 at the moment 🥶

Oh and there is an 80% chance of hail at the moment and it’s completely surrounded by suburbs in covid lockdown.

Should be fun.

Re: New WSL tour

That graph doesn’t say it’s in the calendar year though so Nicks idea could still work. So pipe might be first event in Jan like they tried to do few years ago?

Re: New WSL tour

umm ledtool! pro surfing fanatic! I think you'll find the Challenger thing will shift to the end of the year, not the beginning. The CT will focus on six months through mid year. The WSL are v shifty on what happens to Pipe in this scenario but don't be surprised if they pull off the switcheroo the...

New WSL tour

WSL have just announced changes to the 2021 tour, world champ determined on on finals day, qs tour now in regions and challenger series at start of the year before the world tour starts. Wonder what this means for Gold Coast and Bells events. Will they drop back to QS/Challenger status?? Surely the ...

Haha I just threw that in there. Only read his article last night. But if he could report beaches are closed more often that would be nice.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Should have surfed 3ft offshore beach breaks yesterday but council and NC said all beaches are closed in our shire. Turns out Parks Victoria disagree and say they are open. Now it's onshore junk for the rest of Easter.

Re: The Tulla Tub

Any boogers? One booger in our session, he got a wave in the first set then saw him near the entrance of the pool talking with the life guard and didn’t come back. Crossy getting saved in a wave pool?? Every wave of the set was different, which I wasn’t expecting. Some rides were much longer than o...

Re: The Tulla Tub

Surfed the 8am advanced session this morning. As the other guys have said it’s excellent fun! Will definitely be going back. Next time I want to book 2 sessions with an hour rest between. Was bigger than I expected from videos, just a really fun playful size. The lip has a good bit of power to it bu...

https://beachgrit.com/2020/01/longtom-surfs-melbourne-tank-each-wave-was-strangely-unsatisfying-but-taken-as-a-whole-mad-weird-fun/ Shearers review. Surfed the intermediate setting and still sounded fun. I’ve booked in for an early morning session in a couple of weeks. There has been lots of talk ab...
