Re: GO MEDINA!

Well, when you have recovered from laughing at all these hilarious 7-1 posts, return to enjoying the feeling of vicarious pride in having a fellow countryman win a world title. I can assure you most aussies and seppos (and some poms in '89) have when one of ours have won.

Seems to be a quiet cicada year here in Sydney. What does that tell us about the surf this summer?

Anyone with authority care to comment on the recent forecast? Could you call that an ECL forming late this week, and is that strange for mid Aug?

Well, we did build the LHC that can get a few protons to 0.999999991 c, or about 3 metres per second slower than the speed of light.

Re: Sunday swell

Ok I under called it very slightly. Tonight was 4-6 with a few odd bigger set and plenty of power. Reasonably crowded but you could still get plenty of waves. Yeh I admit it. It was fun as. Best surf for a while for me. Surfed my trusty Simon Anderson XFC rounded pin and ended up with a big woody. ...

2. What would happen if you pissed into a Dyson Airblade - and why on earth is there no video on the internet of it?

Just remember that you are not separate. There is not you and the crowd. You are part of the crowd.
To me, people complaining about crowds seem oblivious to this.

Do you think it is possible to improve in average conditions? Young family duties kybosh any travelling to decent breaks, and I feel my surfing is stagnating. I only get out once every 1 or 2 weeks on the nthn beaches. I've been surfing 20 years but I'd rate myself at the lower end of intermediate ...
