Re: Cab Sav by Nick Blair
Had another surf on my 5'3 cab sav today and had so much fun in the small stuff. Speed off the mark and can put it anywhere in the wave because its so short. It's actually got more volume than my normal shorty. Was thinking about how good it is to have it with summer coming.

Re: My rashy is killing me
I can't surf with a rashy on either - keep slipping around under chest too. I gave up the ghost and either wear a long sleeve 0.5mm wettie top for the sun protection or if having a quick surf (if it's small) on a hot day then maybe just a t-shirt - but sometimes my hands get caught up in those when ...

Re: Zipper busted:( FCS board bag.
My oldest board bag (and still most used for travel) is over 15 years old - O&E. The reason for it is that they used a hard plastic zipper as it doesn't corrode. I have had an FCS cover last only 18 months before the zipper broke  If you head down to this place in brooky let us know where you ...

Re: Provoked shark attacks!!!
To return to topic , I remember pissing myself laughing at documentary footage of Ron and Valerlie Taylor demonstrating their new chain mail protective suit. It started out all normal with a medium sized reef shark having a go at the forearm like a big dog when a second one skulls up behind and latc...

Re: NO TOXIC SHIP
Interestingly the only "valid" complaint appears to be about not being consulted. Scuttles for dive wrecks have occurred all over the country without negative impact on the surrounding environment. Byond that though, what media interest do you think you are gonna get when, going through all of the ph...

Re: The Drifter
the Drifter is the latest thing that's cool to hate in some circles...although I can't fathom how people can see a title which states "based on the wanderings..." and then expect it to be fly on the wall stuff  I guess the downside of being a moron is skewed expectations - they must be constant...

Re: introducing-THE MONGRAL
Looks great, and this is the stuff that got me into this forum in the first place.
I'm interested in how it goes, as well as in the refinement process for the next one - what worked, what didn't and where the surprises were.
Oh yeah, I'm getting on in age so some bigger piccies wold be great

Re: Kelly Slater's Wizard's Sleeve (and the like)
I;m pretty sure Jeff Alexander has well trialled the pitchfork design (Gemni design). There is about 115 Wizard Sleeve models hitting the stores in the next week or so. They've been finished off at the factory but are awaiting the fins to come in. K2.1 perf core quad set along with a k2.1 rear fin (...
