Re: Where did you surf today ?

Yeah, was a touch strong. Wore my new springy. A touch chilly at first, but fine once in. get it from the quicky sale? Yes. Super light and stretchy. I got one as well. 2mm syncro. prob is its a bit small and the size I need is sold out. so its squashed nuts and straightjacket arms for me

Re: General snow stuff

the worst thing is when you are at the top looking down trying to decide on which line to take! always a dozen options and you don't want to fark it up! I took my daughter on a little slackcountry hike this year. made her earn some turns. she was pretty stoked when she realised the effort she put in...

Surfing wavepools be like rooting prostitutes. Sure you get to have another turn but its nothing like the real thing and probably leave you feeling a little but dirty.
only a hooker rooter knows the feeling.....

Re: Kelly's wave.

I reckon the type of person who'd be keen on the wave pool thing would pay whatever the price was. Dan the investment banker won't shirk at $10 a wave yea so what happens when u blow the wave 2 turns in? is that still $10? I read lopez say he blew his first few waves. apparently everyone does, have...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I reckon I've had dolphins warn me of sharks. George Greenough also has spoken of it. The myth is that when there are dolphins around there are no sharks. Nearby Dolphins being skittish and darting about, as opposed to milling around as they usually do, is a good indicator to paddle in. in about 89...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

It's going to be interesting, because I am about to get my first off the rack poly board (assume machine shape) from a big manufacturer for years. It'll be interesting to see how durable it is. When was the last time a standardish thruster was in your regular lineup? This is a Pyzel Ghost.....sligh...
