Seems like almost a 'big boy shortboard' (I'm not particularly big) or maybe something close to a Firewire Addvance (with a narrower nose) or a V-s...

Re: Midlengths

DSC_0554.JPGDSC_0551.JPG Suppose you might call this a mid length, just picked it up. 7'4"x 21"x 3", got for surfing medium size local reefs and larger beachies that are hard to paddle into, getting old and don't have the power in the arms these days :) I would call that board The extratesticle. Ca...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Surprisingly punchy fun peaks mid morning. Glassy 2 -3 ft a handful out
Really liking my DIY quartet - its my goldilocks board - Just right
into waves early, very sure footed on late take offs, quick off the mark, holds speed through turns and easy to put on a rail

Always rode a 6 foot something nugget at a time Webber was weaving his concave magic on us all what struck me was he surfed LA quite a bit on his backhand which is challenging, and did very well making th...

Geoff has conceded at last to start putting removable fins in his boards on request
Surely quads cannot be far away?

Re: Is anyone backyard shaping any more
