Re: Northern Beaches 23rd May (pics)

Playing with images in post is fine but you need a well exposed shot in the first place. Photoshop is not going to save your butt or make you a pro.

My NEWEST board is a 9'3" Bob Brown custom triple stringer from the 70's.
Very cool looking single fin. Would actually like to sell it and put the money toward a Dain Thomas creation.

NZ works of art

You have probably seen these boards already but if not then you have to have a look at the projects page and the special editions.
Just beautiful!

1 more tip with the breathing is to keep 1 eye in the water and do a sneaky breath from under your arm pit. You should be looking at the side of the pool no higher and keep your chin down so your looking straight down not up ahead. and you will look more out of place in board shorts. They are not ca...

The surf ski guys you normally see just going in and out are just training for surf events. Most would do some distance training as well. Its not easy keeping 1 straight when your coming in as the water at the stern is going toward the beach and the water at the bow is moving in the other direction ...

Man have you ever paddled over to Box head from palmy for a surf? I have on my ski. Also paddled the 20 beaches and up to terrigal. There is more to do out there than just ride a surfboard. Have a go when the waves are a bit full and you will find you will fly on some of those waves. A kayak in the ...
