It doesn't matter what you or I think --they didn't think that and they're the ones signing the cheques. They might think differently now, down the track, since Bede's shaken the Bon...

For me it's probably only about 6ft or so, remember the day pretty well. I was (am) still a bit of a kook (only took up surfing when I was 20) and decided to go out on a day that was probably a bit above my capabilities. The main problem was that it was too easy to get out, just had that perfect run...

I thought it was a good final, not sure on the wave scoring though. I personally thought Parko's 7 was better than his 9, I'm stoked for Robbo too, he was surfing unreal, hope he makes the CT.
