Where to stay on North Shore

Hi I'm stopping in Hawaii in late feb for 2 weeks on way back from US ski trip. Does anybody know any nice places to stay/houses to rent somewhere along the stretch? I will be with my lady who doesn't surf but is happy to hang out at the beach. Our budget stops at around $150 p/n. Any recommendation...

Re: Which FCS?

Ok cool. I'm 78kg. I have a set of k2.1s already. I will ride it first as a thruster then experiment with the quad option down the track, as I have little experience riding quads. Thanks

Which FCS?

Hi

Looking for advice on which FCS fins to run on my new board. The board is a JS Evolution 5/11 19.2 2.38.

http://jsindustries.com/surfboards-v2/evolution

Options for both thruster and quad.

Appreciate any helpful comments

Cheers

Re: Portugal.

The Euro stormrider guide is a worthwhile investment if you're in those parts looking for waves. I did a trip from France to Portugal last year in october/november. Plenty of empty spots to match the uber crowds at Mundaka and Supertubes. Random Portugese coastal towns often revealed empty head high...

Re: Surfer's Eye (Pterygium)

Thanks Saltman, I'm in Sydney, north side. Happily turned out to be a misdiagnosis from the GP, Specialist assures me its a little ulcer and its already stated fading away with lube eye drops a few times a day. I'm relieved, but its made me a wary of developing one in the future. Short of wearing un...

Surfer's Eye (Pterygium)

G'day

If this topic already exists I apologise.

Any body got one(or two)? Is it still there? Did you seek treatment or just resign yourself to life
looking baked 24/7?

Cheers

Re: rotator cuff injuries

I hurt my rotator in the surf, hurt like hell, thought I'd dislocated my shoulder but the physio diagnosed it correctly. It was still niggling after 6 month & a friend suggested Myotherepy & scanar (electric pulse treatment). Worked instantly & I've had no problems since. There are good exercises to...

Re: PADDLEBOARDERS ARE ALL @&#%s...WITH ONE OR TWO EXCEPTION

Out at Bower last Wednesday at Dusk. Two Sups were charging hefty bombs, pulling in, geting smashed. T'was quite a show & definitely broke the stereotypical
Idea I had of them as a whole (of course not the dudes suping chopes & cloudbreak)

Buying boards in France

G'day I'm travelling to Europe in September for a few months. I'm going to be surfing allot but travelling around Germany for a few weeks prior to hitting the French coast. I'm considering not bringing a board as lugging one round Germany will be a pain. I was wondering whether anybody has experiece...

Learn about this (its very helpful): http://www.hps-online.com/troph1.htm Also, if you wanna shed pounds, put on muscle and generally feel a whole lot better, I'd strongly recommend detox and colon cleanse formulas  . But if your going to do it you have to do it right. Cleansing the colon and ...

lost wetsuit

Hey all, Thought I'd give it a shot. I left a pretty new wetty on the side of the road above the grass at Turrimetta yesterday (thu 13th aug) @ around 2.45-3.00pm. Its a rip curl e-bomb with a chest zip, size MS, colour black with white markings. On the offchance you were surfing there yesterday aft...

Re: Sumbawa and Lombok

I'd go with Lakey heh. Its a really convenient setup, like you stay right in front, paddle across the lagoon in 2 min and your laughing. It gets crowded, spesh peak season and all, but there are a bunch of other quality waves all within a walk/scooter ride away from the main acommodations. I'm sure ...
