Re: Midlengths

7.2 is a fair bit of board, go smaller for an all rounder.

That review. I’ve never had a bonzer that “tracks”.

Re: Midlengths

It’s a lovely board. Only get it out when it’s nice and lined up. Smooth, drivey, very fast. Section connector. Think speed and flow rather than acute turns. 7.2 by 21 by 2 3/4”. No idea of litres. Plenty of foam in the middle, but quite foiled out. Thin tail. Medium rails, that wouldn’t look out of...

Why not pay the extra 300 and get a board from say Dick Vanstraalen, Webster, Bennetts....

Re: Single fin shortboards

Arent those meant to be faithful to the late 70’s Col Smith boards?

I’m waiting for a bigger one, say 6.8 to pop up on The Gumtree. It’s a ‘like to have’ rather than ‘must have’ board.

Re: Midlengths

Yes that a Ronnie Goddard. 8.0 I think. His blogs has heaps of board pron.

Jeeaz those Bings are asking $1800. Wow.
Glad I get a few Campbell’s before prices went silly.
My 7.2 egg only gets surfed 20 times a year, but being strongly glassed it should last a another 10 years.

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

Near new (so the ad says) Outer Island longboard. $850. Brand New, this would be a fair whack.
