Jeez I could drop some money atm.
I’ve posted less than half the great boards I’ve spotted in a 10 minute search.

Yep, with 50 odd years of experience the shaper more than likely has a pretty good idea of what to make for a bloke.

Re: Midlengths

Dont know why the guy would “get Malcolm to flatten out,, bla , bla, bla”

Say you want a pulled nose egg, say how much you weigh, say the size/type of waves range you want to surf it in, say if it’s a cruiser or a ripper, and you’ll get a bloody good board.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Maybe BA was wearing the new, “Nick Carroll Surf Blinkers”. (Patent pending). These little rippers allow the user a massive 35 degree field of vision, thus significant reducing not only the temptation, but the basic ability, to even catch a sly glance at passing buttocks. https://image.ibb.co/k0mM8A...

Think general rule for shorter boards is the back of the side bites line up with the front of the middle fin. Neal Purchase told me that.
Think Andrew Kidman and Dave Parmenter go by that too.
And Campbell Bros. Start there, and adjust in 1/4” increments.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Yeah there’s a heap of housing developments going in around previously quiet places like Bonnie Hills, Lake Cathie etc.
Our PTB run the developed worlds highest rate of population growth.
Vote ‘em out.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Port is a good example of a town being too ‘retirement attractive’.
But still, Port probably wouldn’t make the Top 50 shit towns in Australia.

Re: Midlengths

7.2 is a fair bit of board, go smaller for an all rounder.

That review. I’ve never had a bonzer that “tracks”.
