It should make virtually no difference what happens today or tomorrow. As long as you buy a wide variety of shares and hold them for a long time you have a reasonable chance of coming out ahead. If you are trying to "guess" the best time to sell you are doomed from the start.

Fear makes people do weird things? I've been surfing for 22 years and I know I've been caught inside some massive waves in my life and there were def. times when I thought to myself "shit, what am I going to do here" maybe he just made a real bad spur of the moment choice. How would any of us know?
