Interesting discussion I thought...

There was a good thread on this issue maybe last year sometime? (I had a quick search but couldn find it) The issue of break-ins that is, not how to find OP. It was a bit more umm... politically correct than your post too Eski (!!?!!)

How's the old saying go:

"The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun but not letting anyone else know he/she is having the most fun"

it's something like that...or how 'bout:

"Only a surfer knows the feeling but is careful not to let the feeling show for fear of not appearing cool"

I'm more interested in where this dude got an elf and why he's creaming him/her??

Don't wanna see pictures or anything...although Liv Tyler did make me a bit "elf-curious" for a while...

Magnoplasm (or is it Magnaplasm?) is supposed to be the goods for getting the stubborn ones - out according to a mate from WA where the spikages seem to be a common problem, you've just gotta put a decent incision in above the spine - which it sounds like you've already got. It certainly won't hurt ...

If my memory serves me correctly, one of the Gibbs boys (also from Manly/Curly), I think it was Nick, was the original Milo bb-er.

I'm talking early 90's now... old skool

Nick popped up on the forums a while back, still getting amongst it as I recall.

Ha! That's kinda funny that you replied first SAsurfa , 'cos SA is one of the few places where sharks would/do bother me. I'm sure it'd be different if I lived there, but there are just too many stories of encounters with the big fellas for SA to be high on my surfing destination list (but then I'm ...

I think this made the Tele as well (or maybe it was that Mx paper that they give you to read on the train?), but the article I read said he "thought it it might have been a Great White", i.e. the natural response from someone who has an encounter with a bloody big shark and has seen any of the JAWS ...

That woulda been Thurs arvo by my reckoning. Went down on Fri early to find nothing rideable on the whole 'nulla stretch... headed home to take over child-minding duties only to read all about the surf cleaning up & S.I.C. finals happening later that day! Sometimes you just can't catch the right bre...

Am I the only one getting thoroughly sick of the constant debate about what/where is OK or not OK to talk about on these forums (surf-spot wise) ? With possibly futile goal of advancing the debate (instead of just re-hashing it), maybe you can answer this question: 1. Have you found and used informa...

Yee-oooh! Missed this first time round too. I think it was nicer reading the story with the happy ending though... Maybe my prayers were retro-active?

More bad news I'm afraid... You are now no longer in the running for the Head of Oneill Asia Pacific role.

Re: It's all about the feeling

The use of different craft matters... because the Craft Themselves, through their quite different characteristics, bring about entirely different surfriding feelings and experiences. If you persist with one form, it'll rub off on you in specific ways that may indeed cause you to adopt a different v...
