Very good article by Sean Doherty about JJF and a quick trip to King Island with Rasta.

"Very good" You reckon? They tried to write it as though Florence is some kind of fccckn mythical figure. Boring as batshit.

I'm not being defensive Thud, just stating a fact. I think you are the defensive one...

It's like you have completely lost the ability to engage in the most basic of dialogue.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I love it when I pull up to check the surf and it's knee high and the pack is 300m further out from where the waves are breaking waiting patiently Ditto, so ,many of those sessions a few weeks ago on this cracking bank, 80% of the blokes waiting for the sets of 3 which came every 20 mins. Inside on...

I imagine ‘boo saying that in his stern dad voice.
wearing a lace teddy and suspenders.
Yanking on his ball bag with one hand and thumbing his anus with the other.

Re: Wave models

Don't rate Windguru Nick? For what? The source info is available, why look at some stupid graph? So you know there’s gonna be a southerly change? That’s got fcuk all to do with what the surf is gonna be like, ie what swell will be generated toward your coast. The best day of surf in the Sydney regi...

how long in padang before the boat trip?
Usually one night for most vaguely organised people. Could be a month for Shearer.

No argument re long range swell but to say it doesn’t break at 8ft is complete twaddle.
How big is 8 foot in your terms?
2ft bigger then 6ft.

Allow $40 per day if you dont take em.
Stone the flamin crows, that equates to 8+ beers per day.

Its a surfing trip, not Ibiza.
It’ll leave him change for a wristy in Padang on the way home though.

pretty sure booze not included.
Just buy your beer on the boat mate, fcck taking hard liqour, you gonna be surfing 2-3 times a day in intense tropical heat - plenty of time to get pissed at home.
