Recommendations for Bali with a mixture of experienced surfers
Hi guys. Looking to take my son and daughter to Bali around sept but can't decide where to base ourselves. My daughter, 14, has never been to Bali. She's got the basics sorted on a short board but doesn't want anything sketchy. I just want to get her out in some fun quality waves that aren't overly ...

Re: Watch recommendations
Looks like Casio have joined the party with a fancier watch that hooks up to supporting apps too. Prices still look cheaper than the others as well. Don't think they can be charged though which is annoying but is it still way easier to get battery changed in casio these days (ie. Take it to any jewe...

Re: Watch recommendations
Actually the one thing I am sick of is how long it takes for rip curl to replace their watch batteries. Just had one replaced. Had to get it sent to Torquay as usual. Took over 2 months FFS! The one thing I'd welcome with any of these new watches is the fact you can charge the thing and never have t...

Re: Watch recommendations
Looking for a recommendation for a solid surf watch. I see the last comment on this was a few years back. Dare I ask if a product has since popped up that has people genuinely backing its value and reliability? Looking to replace mine that is pretty old and on its last legs. Apple Watch all day eve...

Re: Watch recommendations
Cool. Thanks Jimmy. I am an Android guy. I was looking at rip curl initially as I've had a few of their watches in the past and that was the default option. But now there are plenty of options with clever features, looks like there is more choice. Also sounds like some mixed reviews on the rip curl ...

Kelly Slater FCS quad fins
Can anyone confirm the size of the Kelly Slater FCS (original FCS) quad fins in either the 2.1 or 3.1 range? Looking at some second hand ones, both the "2.1" and "3.1"s. But no idea what the size are and can't find a size chart for the older fins. I'm after some medium fins and just need to know whi...

Re: Bells Beach
I have to watch Toledo with the sound down until such time that an unsung hero steps forward from the crowd and clamps Toledo's dads lips shut after applying a generous layer of liquid nails. Enough of that F'ing whistling pops!

Julian’s cooked. No world title for you this year mate. Can't see it happening any year until he sorts his mind out. Just doesn't seem to have any mongrel on a consistent basis. How many heats has he thrown away in the past because he's just sat their waiting for a perfect wave that's never going t...

Re: Bells Beach
WTF is wrong with Julian? Looks like he doesn't even want to be there. Kelly surfs the wave and he just goes for half-arsed airs.
