Godsave wouldn't be the first surfer to over-compensate for a tight swell window.
Steve, what’s your take on Lakemba’s swell window?

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Today was fun as fcuk.

New banks everywhere, east swell to spread out the crowds. Sunny, offshore, Sydney winters are great!

Re: Another New Toy

Looks good Trev. That tail clearly helps with turning.

As much as I love channels, never seen them on a long board. I would have thought the planing area makes them redundant.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Must have peaked last night. Still big but nowhere near the size around 4 yesterday arvo. Surfed a reef I've never seen before this morning. It was really scary, close to getting dry docked on some rocks when I got swept north on the paddle out. Just avoided those, dodged some sets. Caught a few and...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

bombie killing at Newport this morning as the swell has a rush of blood to its head (again) needed all the super board on a couple - steep, tall, windy. some crew followed me out, it slammed for about 90 mins, then I got a really good one and thought ok, that'll do, went in, and the swell lost thre...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I really don't think you should be giving advice about cars, Crabmeat. My last steamer purchase was an O'Neill back zip. It has pinstripes, which weren't apparent when I bought it online from the UK. Fortunately I didn't need to wear it once I moved back to Qld. My Matuse chest zip springsuit is su...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Bali announces it will open up to international tourists on September 11. If you can get there wonder if Gladys will by then be making you pay for the 2 week iso hotel stay upon return? And how much the flights will cost? Wasn’t aware until yesterday there’s actually a ban on Australians leaving Au...

Re: Midlengths

I like to see what I'm getting so there's no chance of me buying a custom, and if I did I would much rather it be a CAD/CAM process. Banksy would do that, but even then I'd still rather see it in the flesh first. And support your local surf industry? What percent of boards sold are already made in ...

6'2" x 193/4 x 23/8", we had to nudge the width out a touch to get all the curves to fit. There's no hip in the outline or rocker, it's all clean curve. Slight vee under the nose transitioning into single concave naturally foiling out into flat between the front and back fins, tiny flat vee behind ...
