Yeah, took it off first thing.

I'm not a fan of pads at all. Prefer the full wax on boards.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Where can i buy a wetsuit for my 18 month old? Whats available? Check out Sideways in Brookie. Plenty of smaller kids stuff and not overly expensive given they will grow out of it in 6 - 12 months. ha ha I went to that shop yesterday just out of curiosity. It's a weird world, the discount vertical ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I went in a mal club comp up the northern beaches a few years back. Nailed a fin first take off and managed to swing the board back around. Was stoked with it, got a few hoots. When I went in, I was told that it didn't count as fin first take offs weren't a recognised scoring manoevre. Didn't bother...

Re: General snow stuff

My splitboard arrived today. Man I'm glad I didn't keep trying to DIY. Unfortunately my sofa is quite tasteful so I took the shots on the crappy carpet. https://i.postimg.cc/QCBpfMQt/PXL-20201015-172027429.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/63brVZGg/PXL-20201015-172226078.jpg What’s the point of this compare...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

5:30am, there was a bit of swell early and almost no wind. Got a handful of ho-hum waves. Then possibly the best wave of the day. I was riding a 7'6 pin tail mid-length for a change. Overhead wave, beautiful steep drop, got some speed up, enough to hit a hard bottom turn that - forgetting I was on ...

All things being equal, I’m surprised there are less attacks in Esperance and Albany than there are in northern NSW.

Pack softer compound wheels if you’re hitting up the bowl. That painted surface is hell slippery at speed
The deep bowl is really really deep!

Fun nor east wind swell, 2-3 foot, rippable fun. Upwelling in effect so chilly in a springie.

Mal club comp today.
Rock bottom semi beachie.
2nd in the over 60s and 1st in the over 65s.
2 competitors in the over 60's and 1 in the over 65's?

Jokes.

Good effort Trev!

Re: La Nina 20/21

so you wanted to see that pic https://i.postimg.cc/7h5YBr6G/19.jpg it's stamped June 1968 but that's a processing stamp so it may have been taken in late May. That's a wintry sun angle though How big is this Nick? 12 foot? 15 foot? Bigger than this winter? Edit: just read back and saw your estimate...
