Better than three barrels on one wave and only having to just stand there?

20 Best rides

Just found a link to a site documenting the 20 best rides of all time. I'd heard of many of these but only ever seen a few of them on vid.

Ouch, broken pelvis, or broken thighs. Either way, that is a fair bit of pain and a lot of rehab before getting back on a board, if ever. Being out in the middle of Indo isn't the best place to do it either. Anyone have any experience in similar situations in say remote areas of WA. A few of those ...

Just watching the highlights of this contest and the surfing was some of the best I've seen all year from the WCT guys. It seems like finally some of the conservative turns have been left behind for committed risky turns and airs. Rather than five or six hacks down the line there has been heaps of v...

Six foot Lennox head. Had surfed for about two hours and had decided to head in. I was about 10 metres from being able to stand up properly on the rocks, water was about chest deep when I turned around and probably the biggest wave of the day steamed through. I tried to swing the board around too la...

Big balls for sure :!: That guy musta got on that wave up towards Centres cause he's already going warp speed where he pulled in on the normal take off ledge at Tombies. View woulda been worth the smashing and at least he was behind the lip and not part of it. Majic footage....... Spot on...It's th...

How much farther can Slater raise the bar?

Just watched the highlights of his 1st round heat. Switching foot right before pulling in to his second barrel of the wave at Ulu's. Haven't seen that done too many times before.

You've got to wonder how much fatigue plays a part here. Due to the round 4 being split over two days. Kelly only had to surf 3 times rather than 4 like the others in the semi's.

As high as Taj scored, and it might just be the way he surfs but I thought his board looked a little all over the place when he was trying to get speed up. It looks like Taj is constantly having to make micro adjustments and movements to keep the speed up. It might be a style thing but when you comp...

Stab

I've been living O/S for a little while thus the only mags that I tend to see are either ASL or Tracks. The older I get the more I tend to think they cater for the under 25 market and I don't tend to get them very often anymore, pretty much only when I'm at an airport and about to jump on a plane. I...

Is there any vids of the final day at Cloudbreak floating around? The Globe site is no longer running and with the crappy webcast I barely saw any of the final day.

Check out the Bra Boys DVD. In the bonus features they have exercises that Mark Matthews does. Not going to make you charge Shippies but still some useful things there
